Toplink's 34 Port rack-mountable Ethernet 10Base-T Hub is a device that implements Twisted-pair Ethernet compatible networks following IEEE 802.3 10Mbps CSMA/CD. These hubs provide all the functions necessary to support the Ethernet networks. By incorporating Shielded Twisted Pair connectors design, The hub not only provides the ultimate reliability to the network transmission but also provides the ultimate protection to the human body from radial exposure. Cabling requirement is not restricted to shielded twisted pair cable, one can use unshielded twisted pair cable if so desired.
By designing in the extra uplink port, one can easily
cascade hubs together without using any special cables. By providing extra
BNC or AUI port, one can conveniently use the hub as
a BNC or
AUI or mixed repeater without using
external transceivers. Another prominent feature of the hub is
the numerous indicators: 2 LEDs for each twisted-pair port and
BNC/AUI report network
activity and facilitate problem diagnosis.
Other indicators include Power, Collision and Jabber.
